Harbin China Winter Trip

We traveled north of where we're living in China to see the Harbin Ice Festival. It runs a little over a month, and we had been warned it can be brutally cold there (like 30 below), but worth the trip. Boy! was that ever true! We happened to have been blessed with sunny, perfect weather our first day, the day we were outside all day looking at the snow sculptures, followed by the lighted ice sculptures in the evening, and a very light beautiful Norman Rockwell type snow our second day when we were in and out of vehicles and buildings, or under cover of some sort. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend!

If you happen to be in China during the festival it's SO worth the trip up there! What an experience! The articles that follow will break down various individual activities we experienced during our Harbin, China weekend, along with photos.
